Aftercare, Servicing & Repairs

Aftercare & Servicing:

We, along with most insurance companies, strongly recommend that a piece of fine jewellery be serviced once a year. This is to ensure it remains well looked after and can be enjoyed through generations.

As part of our commitment to looking after every client we provide an annual service and check-up free of charge, this includes a thorough clean and polish. If we establish that any repair work is required, we will notify you of the steps required and the cost to fix the item. Repair work such as the re-tipping of claws, tightening of claws, abrasion treatment are typically necessary every 2-3 years depending on how the jewellery is worn & stored.

If you identify any change in your jewellery, no matter how small (i.e. a slightly loose stone, snagging claw or sharp component) please contact us immediately so that we can look at it and avoid any further more significant damage.

Repairs

First Years Grace: Every new piece created is subject to our First Years Grace.

The First Year’s grace means that in the event that any damage occurs to the ring in the first year of ownership (provided this is considered in the normal course of wear and tear and all constituent parts are still present) we will perform any repairs free of charge.

The First Years Grace does not cover any damage to individual stones. Although we can of course support you on this, it should be addressed separately and claimed through your insurance.

This policy remains at our discretion and repairs required for any damage that has occurred through misuse or improper care will be charged at the standard rate of repair.

One Year Onwards

Customer care is the life blood of our brand and deeply rooted in our very being so our commitment to supporting you does not stop here. We will of course always endeavour to support you as best we can, so if in doubt or you have any questions, just ask us for help.

We cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs to the jewellery and or gemstones once it is outside our care. Our creations go through extensive quality control checks prior to being delivered and any damage that occurs thereafter is considered to be a function of how the jewellery has been worn or stored.

Where a piece requires a repair, please get in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can review the level of damage and assess any repair work required. We will then advise you as to the most appropriate next steps and clearly communicate the work required to fix the piece as well as the expected charge.

We have no obligation to repair our jewellery and reserve the right to not accept products for repair where repeated damage has occurred or staff are treated unfairly.
